DELPHI ,Ind. (WLFI) - If you're looking to explore one of Indiana's hidden treasures, all you need to do is take a trip to Delphi.
Canal Park in Delphi is home to the Wabash Canal, Erie Canal and also the canal boat "The Delphi."
The boat is 54 feet long and 10 feet wide and is powered by an electric motor.
Board member Mary Crary said it's not only something fun to do with the family, it's educational as well.
"Basically, you're going to see history of the canal through the city of Delphi," said Crary. "Some of it is antique, some of it is newer things that we're just interpreting the story."
Boat rides are offered on the weekends from May until October. Bike and paddle boat rentals are also available at the park Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
