WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Two pieces of public art at Purdue University are now an official part of the campus.
The pieces entitled "Brickhead Conversations" were completed in July. A dedication ceremony was held outside of Pao Hall.
People got a chance to meet the artist James Tyler. Tyler lives in New York and said he hardly ever gets the chance to visit revisit finished pieces
"I've put so much time into them that, in a way," said Taylor. "They are almost like children who've grown up and gone away. I still think about them and still worry about them. Is the sound working right? Are they being loved and respected. I never fully walk away from these big projects."
Tyler is now working on smaller projects while planning his next Brickhead piece. Pao Hall is located off of Marsteller street in West Lafayette.
Some state employees will receive bonuses next month for meeting or exceeding their job expectations.
Vacant homes on the market are being targeted by people looking for copper wire.
A secret Santa recently walked into The Great Harvest Bread Company and handed owner Jerry Lecy a $100 bill. He told Lecy to pick a day and "pay it forward."
