CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A busy state highway in Carroll County will be closed for the next month as work continues on the Hoosier Heartland.
Indiana Department of Transportation officials said State Road 218, northeast of Delphi off the old State Road 25, will be closed for a month.
State Road 218 is being realigned to connect with the new State Road 25. Officials said it will be at a better angle to improve safety.
The old State Road 25 is still open and State Road 218 is open up to the Anderson's Grain Group, but beyond that, it's closed.
