ATTICA, Ind. (WLFI) - Investigators say a lit cigarette was the cause of an early morning fire at C&D Technologies in Attica.
Fire Chief Ed O'Farrell says the fire started around 5:15 Thursday morning on the 200 block of West Main Street.
Investigators believe it began because someone was smoking near cardboard pallets in the company's shipping department.
There were no injuries. Damage was minimal.
