BROOKSTON, Ind. (WLFI) - On Wednesday, cancer survivors experienced the joy of camp.
More than a dozen adult cancer survivors participated in the 24th Camp Bluebird designed for cancer survivors.
The theme of the camp was "Laugh Til It Heals."
Camp activities included massages, crafts, archery, and comedy skits.
Cancer survivor Gloria Huffman has been to the camp for 20 years.
Huffman said Camp Bluebird has been a place where survivors can get support.
“I just think it's a place where you can come and talk about your situation. Talk about how you feel that you can't express to other people,” said Huffman.
Camp Bluebird will end on Thursday.
