CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Clinton County Sheriff Jeff Ward said two people were arrested Saturday after a body was found lying in the middle of a road..
It happened around 1:40 a.m. near County Road 550 North and 200 East. Ward said when deputies arrived, they found Kenneth Fisher of California lying in the middle of the road. Deputies said Fisher was dead upon arrival.
Ward said two people, 26-year-old Kassie Laflen and 39-year-old Paul Laflen, were arrested in connection with the case.
Ward said Fisher was a passenger in a car driven by Kassie. Kassie has been charged with operating while intoxicated. She has since been released.
Ward said Paul was also in the car and engaged in a fight with Fisher. Paul has been arrested for involuntary manslaughter.
The case remains under investigation.
