LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The 10th annual Bingo & Auction Extravaganza will be held on Thurs. Aug. 1 at the Four Points By Sheraton Hotel in West Lafayette. 100 percent of money raised will go to the Lafayette Transitional Housing Center (LHTC).
LTHC is a non-profit agency which provides housing and supportive services to the homeless in our community, particularly families and their children.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m. Last year, more than $40,000 was raised and this year the goal is $50,000.
Case Manager Rick Mummey said funding is down and the need for community support is even greater. Donations and live auction items are still needed. Tickets are still available. Check out the LHTC website for more information, or you can call (765) 423-4880.
