TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found in western Indiana.
Indiana State Police says people riding all-terrain vehicles reported finding the bodies about 10 p.m. Saturday in rural northwestern Vigo County outside Terre Haute. The bodies were found under a small bridge on a driveway leading to an abandoned home. A truck belonging to one of the victims was found nearby.
Police say the victims appeared to have been dead for a few days. Police say they believe the victims were in a relationship and were middle age or older. The bodies were partially decomposed.
Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
