INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A woman who was held hostage by a man who tried to rob a Kroger store is suing the grocery store and its former manager.
On Dec. 26, 2011, a man entered the Kroger store and while attempting to rob the store, took Christine Nelson, a Kroger employee, into an office area while holding a hard object against her back.
Nelson filed the suit on Dec. 11. Kroger has filed a motion to dismiss at 10 a.m. March 23, in Marion County Civil Superior Court 1. A trial has been set for 8:15 a.m. Feb. 11, 2014.
