TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A Brookston woman accused of stealing thousands while on the job entered a guilty plea in court this week.
Forty-four-year-old Christiana Denny pleaded guilty to forgery and corrupt business influence
According to Tippecanoe County court documents, Denny was working as a bookkeeper at Lafayette Glass between 2007 and 2009.
She's also accused of issuing fraudulent payroll checks to herself and making unauthorized purchases on company credit cards.
When owners confronted Denny, investigators say she admitted to taking the cash.
A sentencing is set for July 5.
