WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Two White County adults and a juvenile are in trouble after deputies say they tried to break into a house while the residents were inside.
Investigators say it happened Wednesday night at a home on the 300 block of South East Street in Buffalo. The homeowners called 911 after hearing burglars try to make entry through a window around 11:45 p-m.
Terra Baughman, 21, was located by deputies in a car nearby. A little later, Robert German II, 21, and a male juvenile were both found walking on State Road 39.
Sheriff Pat Shafer said German and Baughman are in a relationship and live on 2100 block of East U.S. 24.
German faces a preliminary charge of attempted burglary. Baughman faces a preliminary charge of aiding an attempted burglary. The juvenile was released to his parent with information sent to the juvenile probation department.
A shooting on Lafayette's south side is under investigation.
