INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indiana State Police troopers arrested two people after they found 65 pounds of pot during a traffic stop on Monday.
Officials say Rosa Linda Villalon, 58, and Raul Vargas, 31, both of McAllen, Texas, were arrested for dealing marijuana – more than 10 pounds – a Class C felony, and possession of marijuana – more than 30 grams – a Class D felony.
A release says around 1:30 p.m., a state trooper stopped a 1998 Ford Expedition on Interstate 70 for a traffic violation.
Troopers searched the vehicle and found 66.5 pounds of marijuana in the back of the car.
