WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) A second woman was arrested for beating a four-year old on Wednesday.
The toddler's mother, Sherena Michele Harris, 26, was arrested on Monday after admitting to hitting her four-year-old daughter with a belt and taping her mouth shut.
Police arrested Jolene Marie Swihart, 30, after an investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Deputies and the Department of Child Services led officials to believe that Swihart had also kicked and potentially injured the same four-year-old.
Swihart was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery resulting in serious bodily injury to a victim less than 14-years-old. She was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail and was held on a $5,000.00 bond.
