TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A West Lafayette man faces several criminal charges after leading police on a pursuit through two counties.
43- year-old Joseph Radzikowski faces five counts including aggravated battery, resisting law enforcement and criminal recklessness with a vehicle.
According to court documents, Radzikowski accelerated towards a West Lafayette police officer working a crash at Northwestern Avenue and Cherry Lane.
Police pursued through West Lafayette to Lafayette and then to Interstate 65 where the chase was called off because of excessive speeds.
The chase picked back up in White County.
Around 10:00 p.m., almost an hour after it all began, stop sticks at State Road 43 and Soldiers Home Road deflated Radzikowski's tires and ending the pursuit.
