LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A meth lab was discovered late Wednesday evening in downtown Lafayette.
Lafayette police arrived at 434 S. Fifth St. after receiving a report of two people arguing at the residence.
Upon arrival, officers sensed a chemical odor.
The two people arguing were then detained while police began an investigation of the entire property.
Indiana State Police and the Lafayette Fire Department assisted in the investigation.
Police said they discovered an active meth lab in the home.
Kevin Douglas of Lafayette was later arrested after further investigation, along with Bhupinder Singh.
Douglas is facing several charges including dealing and possession of meth.
Singh is facing charges of visiting a common nuisance.
