LAFAYETTE, Ind (WLFI) - A woman convicted of having cocaine is the subject of thisweek's Fugitive Search.
Lanekia Monique Anderson is a 31 year old black female. She is 5'7', 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Lafayette Police Detective Matt Devine said this case stems froman investigation by the street crimes unit in January 2008. He saidan undercover officer purchased crack cocaine from Anderson.
"As a result of the ensuing investigation, Lanekia MoniqueAnderson was charged with dealing cocaine," said Devine. "She pleadguilty to a less offense of Possession of Cocaine. She wassentenced to Community Corrections. In April, a warrant was issuedseeking to revoke her probation because she violated terms of herhouse arrest."
Devine said Anderson absconded from house arrest.
