LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A Lafayette man faces forgery and theft charges after prosecutors say he spent more than $1,200 with credit cards that didn't belong to him.
They say Timothy McClendone, Jr. used two credit cards to buy a cell phone, clothing, shoes and hats from several different stores.
Prosecutors say the cards and the wallet they were in had been reported stolen. They say McClendone used discount and rewards cards in his own name when he made the fraudulent purchases.
