LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A man was taken to the hospital after he got into a fight with a friend Wednesday.
Lafayette police said it happened around 7:30 p.m. at an apartment on South Street. Officers are unclear of the reason but say Mark Cochran got into a fight with a friend and sliced him above his left eye with a knife.
The victim was taken to Franciscan Saint Elizabeth Central to get stitches.
Cochran was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon.
