LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Artago Powers, 19, of Lafayette faces one felony charge of battery resulting in serious bodily injury after prosecutors say he hit a teenage girl so hard he gave her a skull fracture.
According to court documents, on Aug. 24, Powers got into an argument with the 15-year-old at Linwood Park, hit her twice, causing her to fall to the ground and become unconscious for about 5 minutes. Powers later told officers the teen hit him on the head before he punched her in the face.
