TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Two 21-year-old men face multiple felony charges after deputies say they did more than $6,000 of damage at an agriculture retailer.
Shey Parke of Colfax and Dwayne Trippett of Crawfordsville were arrested at 1 a.m. on March 15 at the Clarks's Hill Crop Production Services or CPS.
According to court documents, four nights earlier, the Clark's Hill and the Odell CPS had been broken into with items stolen. A Tippecanoe County sheriff's deputy noticed brake lights at the Clark's Hill CPS March 15 and found the two men in a pickup truck with a load of scrap metal in the back.
Prosecutors said text messages show the two men discussing how they should break into various businesses.
Each man faces seven felony charges including burglary and theft.
