TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - After a four-month-long investigation, police have filed charges against two men accused of robbing a Check into Cash store.
Indianapolis police arrested 36-year-old Malcolm Smith. He faces several charges including armed robbery.
Thirty-six-year-old Landon Harbert of Marion was also arrested in connection with the crime.
The duo is accused of robbing the West Lafayette Check into Cash store back in October.
Smith remains behind bars at the Tippecanoe County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Harbert is currently in the Grant County Jail on unrelated charges, and awaits transfer back to Tippecanoe County.
