Officers served the search warrants at 5:30 a.m. and seized a handgun, about 40 grams of heroin, 40 to 50 grams of cocaine and $5,100 in cash. Police officials estimate the street value of the drugs to be nearly $20,000.
"We believe that these arrests will have a significant impact on the availability of crack cocaine and heroin in Bloomington," Bloomington Police Chief Michael Diekhoff said in a news release.
