INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Lawrence Township fifth grader has to wear finger splints after she says her classmate got angry and broke two of her fingers last month.
According to a police report filed by the 5th grader's mom, the incident occurred at Oaklandon Elementary School.
Alison Smith claims her daughter is the victim of bullying. Smith says she went to police after talking to school officials.
"It just seems like no one is taking it as a big deal, like it is being brushed under the carpet. I don't think that is fair at all" said Alison Smith
