What is Lasik Laser Vision Correction?
LASIK, or Laser in-Situ Keratomileusis offers a number of benefits over other forms of laser vision correction because it is performed under a protective layer of corneal tissue. As a result, there is less surface area to heal and less chance for complications after surgery.
The Lasik Procedure Itself
Lasik is performed at Williamson Eye Institute using a state-of-the-art microkeratome and the VISX STAR S4 laser with CustomVue laser correction. Dr. Williamson and Dr. Kidd are the proud owners of a battery-backed laser that cannot fail in a power outage.

Conductive Keratoplasty - Near Vision CK
Am I a Candidate for NearVision CK?
If you are interested in the NearVision CK procedure, talk to your doctor and get a full eye examination. He or she will determine your specific vision needs and treatment plan, and establish if NearVision CK is the right procedure for you.

What is CK?
NearVision CK improves your ability to focus on near objects without reading glasses. In the clinical study for NearVision CK, 9 out of 10 patients could see 20/20 or better in the distance, and could read newspaper-sized print after the procedure without glasses. Learn how Conductive Keratoplasty works, who is a candidate, what you can expect and questions to ask your Doctor.

Learn More About CK
Once your doctor has determined that you are a candidate for NearVision CK, your eye will be photographed to determine its current and individual shape.

NearVision CK - Hear Patient Stories
Over 100,000 people have improved their near vision. NearVision CK can help improve your vision, allowing you to see clearly like you could 10 years ago. It's an exciting new advancement in vision correction because it uses radio waves instead of a laser to treat your vision problem. Hear patients talk about the difference CK has made in their lives.
