Veneers

Veneers are an exceptional way to reshape and reshade your teeth to give you a "Hollywood" smile.  Veneers, sometimes referred to as instant orthodontia, can quickly straighten your teeth without the hassle of braces.  They can also:

  • Eliminate Spaces Between Teeth
  • Fixed Broken or Chipped Teeth
  • Cover any Unsightly Stains
  • Cover Permanently Stained Teeth
  • Fix Crooked or Misshapen Teeth
  • Remove Small Holes or Pits
  • Cover Worn Down Teeth

Veneers are specially shaped porcelain shells that are bonded to the outer surface of your tooth.  The use of veneers often requires a minimal amount of preparation, leaving more of the natural tooth structure in tact.  Although veneers are typically no thicker than .5mm, they become extremely strong when bonded to your tooth.

Getting Your New Smile

You can have your new smile in as few as two visits.  During your consultation, we will discuss treatment options and your desires for your new smile.  At this time, we will also take x-rays of the area to determine if any decay or other concerns are present.  Impressions of your teeth will be taken to being the design process for your new smile.

We want you involved throughout the entire smile design process.  During your first visit, we will review a model of your proposed teeth.  You are free to make changes to your new tooth shape at this time.  When you have approved the 3D wax model of your smile, we will begin the restoration process.  This process should last no longer than a few hours, and when complete, will leave you in provisional teeth that will look nearly identical to your final restorations.

Your final visit will occur approximately one month later.  For this visit, we will remove the provisional restorations and evaluate your final restorations before bonding them in place.  Shortly thereafter, we will have bonded the final porcelain restorations in place.  These final restorations will look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth.  We will have taken care of any concerns, leaving you with a beautiful, natural looking and feeling smile.
