Dr. Swoverland opened his practice in 1977 after graduating from the Purdue University school of Pharmacy in 1973, and the Indiana School of Dentistry in 1977. He currently continues his education with the Las Vegas Institute, a premier institution for advanced dental studies.

Dr. Swoverland has been married to Marie for 36 years and they have 2 children, Martin, age 29 and Elyse, age 21.  Marie is taking a more active role in the practice - ensuring that the staff is well tended to.  Martin has completed graduate school and Elyse is continuing her college career at Purdue.

Dr. Swoverland's love of dentistry has increased exponentially since his affiliation with LVI, and if you don't find him in the office, he is probably taking another class.
