Dr. Alexander Gorup is a board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, 1 of 14 in the entire state of Indiana. He is the only one within 50 miles of Lafayette. He is also a Member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Originally from New York City, Dr. Gorup completed his residency training in Head & Neck Surgery at the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. In 1999, Dr. Gorup completed a highly competitive post-residency training program in Facial Plastic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles and went on to practice in Beverly Hills and remain on the teaching staff at USC. Beginning in January of 2004, Dr. Gorup and his family moved to Lafayette to be closer to his family and join the Unity Medical Group.

Dr. Gorup is included in the Consumers' Research Council of America Guide to America's Top Physicians for 2003 and 2004-05. He is also recognized by Castle Connolly's Americas' Cosmetic Doctors and Dentists, 2nd Edition. While in Beverly Hills he was featured in the Los Angeles Business Journal and on LA's FOX News. Since his arrival here in Lafayette, he has been featured in The Journal and Courier and on WLFI.
