FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - A trucker hauling tanker filled with jet fueled on a state highway through a rural Texas county last week was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawfully carrying a firearm,the sheriff's office said Tuesday.
Sheriff Keith Korenek of Fayette County, Texas, said his office received several calls from motorists that a tanker truck which was having difficulty maintaining a single marked lane on Friday.
Officers caught up with the 18-wheeler. The driver appeared to be drunk, the sheriff's office said. Officers also found marijuana and a handgun found inside the truck. He was taken into custody.
