NEW YORK (AP) - Regis Philbin gets one last shot at winning a Daytime Emmy for best talk show Saturday night. He never won it in the nearly quarter century he hosted his morning show.

His final season of "Live With Regis and Kelly" is nominated for best talk show. He'll compete with "Ellen," "The Talk" and "The View."

Philbin has won two Emmys for talk show host and he's up in that category again, along with Kelly Ripa. They'll compete against Anderson Cooper, Rachael Ray, "The Doctors" and "Dr. Oz."

Ellen's 12 nominations don't include one for best talk show. "The View" was also snubbed in that category.
Among soaps, "General Hospital" leads with 23 nominations.

Winners will be announced Saturday night on HLN.
