BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CNN/News 12 New Jersey) - Superstorm Sandy gave a first-hand lesson on safety around downed power lines.

You can see this car being electrified by one in Brick Township Monday afternoon.

No word on whether anyone was injured.

Governor Chris Christie says the storm's damage is "beyond anything I thought I'd ever see."
