CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (CNN) - The first official commercial flight to the International Space Station lifted off from Florida Sunday night.
About 10 minutes into the flight, the capsule separated from the rocket and was on its way to the station.
The company SpaceX is behind the launch. It's the first of a dozen flights NASA contracted to SpaceX to resupply the station.
The total contract price is more than one and a half billion dollars.
The unmanned cargo capsule is packed with about a thousand pounds of cargo - everything from low-sodium food kits to clothing and computer hard drives.
It's set to catch up with the space station early Wednesday.
