WINDSOR, Nova Scotia (CNN/CBC News) - People braved the bitter cold to paddle across a lake in Nova Scotia in a bunch of giant pumpkins.
The pumpkins were hollowed out, and some even got a personalized paint job for the annual pumpkin regatta.
The winner called his "Gourdinstein."
There was even a race for pumpkins with motors on them. A 12-year-old boy won that one.
Organizers say the cold kept some people away, but they still got about 30 new pumpkin paddlers.
