DALY CITY, Calif. (CNN) - Authorities are helping people in Daly City, Calif. evacuate after a severe mudslide.

They're still investigating the source of the water. They think it could be from a water storage facility on the top of a hill.

Several blocks were flooded and eight homes have been evacuated so far.

The water flow has stopped, but authorities are still concerned the hill may collapse.

An evacuation center has been set up for victims.
