KINGSVILLE, Ontario (CNN/CBC NEWS) - This little kitten may have used up one of its nine lives.

It was rescued Wednesday after being trapped for days in a sewer pipe in Kingsville, Ontario.

Neighbors first heard the cat crying Sunday night but couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. Finally, they zeroed in on the sewer.

Firefighters and a plumber finally were able to flush the kitten they nicknamed Draino from the sewer.
