LITTLE ROCK, Calif. (CNN) - Rescuers pulled a man from a rural well near Little Rock, Calif. Saturday night.
He'd been in the well for 24 hours in the desert heat.
The man was wedged tight and firefighters had to chip away concrete to pull him free.
Some horseback riders heard his calls for help.
The man fell into the well when he dropped something in and was trying to retrieve it.
