A Christmas tree through the roof?

(CNN/KCPQ) — One Seattle family got a little creative with their Christmas tree this year.

Although it looks like a giant Christmas tree is growing right through their roof, the family says they created this illusion by cutting their 14-foot tree into two parts.

The bigger part of the tree is inside, while the smaller part is bolted onto the roof.
