Americans are eating more pizza than ever

(CNN/LIN) - Pizza is reportedly becoming a staple on dinner tables across America.

Research firm Technomic tells The Huffington Post that 41% of people surveyed say they eat pizza at least once a week.

That's up from 26 percent two years ago.

Foodies suggest better quality frozen pizzas and franchises willing to appeal to high and low-end taste buds are driving the boost.
