Alternative fuels are becoming more prevalent in the automotive industry, as many teenagers learned at an event where Ivy Tech Community College hosted area high school students interested in automotive careers.
Biodiesel, ethanol and lithium power were some of the alternative energy sources demonstrated at Ivy Tech today, but the theme of the event was electric hybrid vehicles.
Automotive experts say education about alternative fuels is imperative for students pursuing a career in motor vehicles.
