WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The National Weather Service has issued heat advisories for much of Indiana, and Chief Meterologist Chad Evans said that the heat is continuing to rise.
Evans said that temperatures in the area were in the high nineties. The temperature at the NewsChannel 18 building is at 94 with a heat index of 109.

Hoosiers are reminded to drink plenty of water. Try to avoid being outside, and if you have to be out, take it easy!
