Yancey commits to Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lake Central's David Yancey committed to Purdue's football program on Saturday. He announced his decision via his twitter account.
Yancey was recruited by Purdue to play running back. He is 5'11" and 200 pounds. He rushed for 1,345 yards and 16 touchdowns last season for Lake Central.
Yancey now joins Purdue's 2013 class that consists of quarterback Danny Etling and defensive end Randy Gregory.
