INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WLFI) - We're on location at the Super Bowl Village in Indianapolis, and we're not the only ones that made it down here Friday.

We're going to show you the entire experience through the eyes of some of the younger crowd.

"The fun part is the NFL Experience. There's lots of stuff you can do! And the zipline!” said Leo Crampton.

Eight year-old Leo Crampton got to play hooky from his Lafayette school Friday to enjoy the Super Bowl experience.
And the way he tells it, it was an experience like no other.

"Over there, they have, like, a field that has, like, a field for kids to do, like, drills. And the drills have, like, running and jumping over obstacles, catching,” said Leo.

So what about those who are just a little too old to be running football drills? Well, there are still plenty of age-appropriate activities.

"I'm going to go to the LMFAO concert tonight, 'Party Rock Anthem.' said Trevor Gibson.

Trevin Gibson's parents let him skip classes at Harrison High School Friday, but only because they were sure the experience would be something he would remember his entire life.

"Once-in-a-lifetime event for myself. Hopefully, the kids are coming down and having a good time today. It's been awesome and all the things that they are getting ready to do here today and going around throughout the city and entertainment is just awesome,” said Sally Myers.

So was the trip down I-65 worth it? Well according to everyone we talked to, it certainly was.

"People of Lafayette! Come here, now!" said Leo.

"It'll probably be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so that's why I decided not to miss it too,” said Sharon Ford.

Reporter: So it was worth it to play hooky from school today?

"It was. Completely,” said Trevor.

You do still have a couple days to come down here and enjoy the all the festivities and everything the Super Bowl Village does has to offer.
