Report: Hazell hires defensive coordinator

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A website centered on Florida State football and Seminoles recruiting is reporting that a Florida State defensive assistant will be joining new Purdue Head Football Coach Darrell Hazell as the Boilermakers defensive coordinator.

"Noles247" is reporting that Seminoles linebackers coach Greg Hudson has accepted Hazell's offer to become the Boilermakers defensive coordinator.

Hazell was hired as the Boilermakers head coach in early December after leading Kent State to their first bowl games since 1972.
