Purdue women snap losing streak

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue women's basketball team snapped a two game losing streak on Sunday with a 75-53 win against Minnesota. Purdue entered Sunday's contest with two straight losses against Iowa and Indiana.

No. 22 Purdue was led in scoring by Courtney Moses with 23 points. Purdue's Drey Mingo and KK Houser each added 14 points. Purdue's Sam Ostarello added another double-double to her resume this season. She finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Purdue battled back from a 40-36 halftime deficit to outscore Minnesota by 16 points in the second half.

The Boilermakers improve to 20-7 overall and 9-5 in Big Ten play. Purdue returns to action on February 28 when the Boilers host Michigan State. Tip-off is set for 7 pm.
