EAST LANSING, MI (WLFI) - Purdue women's basketball fell to Michigan State in overtime, 67-52. Purdue trailed at halftime 29-23.
Purdue made just 28 percent of their field goal attempts in the game. The Boilers were also out rebounded by the Spartans 50-39.
Purdue was led in scoring by Brittany Rayburn, who finished with 17 points. KK Houser and Chantel Poston each added 10 points. Michigan State was led in scoring by Becca Mills, who finished with 17 points.
The Boilers have lost three games in a row and their last five out of six games. Purdue drops to 19-8 overall and 9-5 in conference play.
Purdue resumes play at Michigan on Thursday. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
