IOWA CITY, IA - Purdue women's basketball team dropped its first game in Big Ten play on Sunday against Iowa, 62-46.

The No. 12 Boilermakers struggled on offense in the first half as they scored just 18 points and trailed 41-18. Purdue played better in the second half and outscored Iowa 28-21 but it was too little too late.

Purdue's Courtney Moses was the only player in double figures in scoring for the Boilers. She finished with 11 points. Purdue's Drey Mingo added 9 points and 8 rebounds.

The Boilers drop to 15-3 overall and 4-1 in Big Ten play. Purdue returns to action on January 24 against Northwestern at Mackey Arena. Tip-off is set for 8:30 pm.
