WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue women's soccer team routed Evansville 4-0 on a rainy Sunday in West Lafayette.

Purdue's Jordan Pawlik recorded only the fourth hat trick in program history. She scored the Boilers' first three goals of the day. The junior had missed the first two games of the team's current six-game home stand after suffering a concussion in practice last Sunday. She now leads the team with five goals.

Purdue's Jordan Frick scored the fourth goal for the Boilermakers.

Three goalkeepers saw action on the day for the Boilermakers. Clara Kridler played the first 68 minutes and made four saves. Yana Lyon took over after Purdue had gone up 4-0 but was limited by soreness in her legs. Freshman Samantha Rosa got the call to finish out the victory, making her collegiate debut, and made a pair of saves in the final minutes to preserve the shutout.

The Boilers improve to 4-2 on the season.

The Boilers return to action on Friday against Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Kickoff is slated for 7 pm at Purdue.
