Purdue rolls over Vicenza All-Stars

CREAZZO, Italy (WLFI) - The Purdue men's basketball team beat Vicenza All-Stars 105-69 on Tuesday.

Freshman guard Rapheal Davis had a great game for the Boilers. He poured in 23 points in the win. Davis knocked down 11-14 shots, including several acrobatic finishes at the rim and added five rebounds and three steals en route to being named the player of the game. He was honored with a trophy in front of a crowd of 500 fans at the game.

The Boilers were dominant on the offensive glass once again. Purdue pulled down 27 offensive rebounds.

Both A.J. Hammons and Donnie Hale finished with double-doubles in the game. Hammons had 13 points and 13 rebounds while Hale finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Anthony Johnson added 14 points and senior guard Dru Anthrop dished out five assists and had three steals. Through three games, Anthrop has a total of 10 steals.

The Boilers return to action on Thursday when they will take on Amici del Campetto at 2 pm ET. It will be the final game for the Boilers on their tour of Italy.
