WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - We have yet to see Purdue head football coach Darrell Hazell in action on the gridiron, but that doesn't mean the Boilermaker football team is resting during the off-season.
In fact, that's the last thing they're doing. Early morning workouts have become a standard with Coach Hazell and Purdue completed its final workout Friday morning inside the MollenKopf Athletic Center.
Coach Hazell said today was a "fun day" Friday with a track-type meet practice before the players head out for spring break. After a week away from the field the team will be back again for the start of spring practices on March 19.
The Boilermakers will cap their spring schedule with the annual spring game that is set for April 13.
