Purdue adds University of Nevada to future football schedules

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue and the University of Nevada have announced a home-and-home series in football.

The Boilermakers will play host to the Wolfpack at Ross-Ade Stadium on Sept. 24, 2016, and travel to Mackay Stadium in Reno for a game Aug. 31, 2019.

Mackay Stadium has a capacity of 29,993 and features a FieldTurf playing surface.

Brian Polian, the son of former NFL executive Bill Polian, is in his first season as head coach at Nevada, which is a member of the Mountain West Conference.
