Moses scores 24 but it wasn't enough

VIRGIN ISLANDS (WLFI) - No. 14 Purdue women's basketball team fell to No. 2 Connecticut 91-57 on in the championship game on Saturday at the Paradise Jam Tournament.

The Boilers were led in scoring by Courtney Moses who finished the game with 24 points. However, Purdue had no answers in slowing down Connecticut's offense.

UConn jumped out to an early 11-0 lead and never looked back. KK Houser added 16 points for the Boilers in the loss.

Purdue drops to 5-1 on the season while UConn stays undefeated at 5-0. Purdue returns to action on November 28. The Boilers will play host to Georgia Tech. Tip-off is set for 7 pm.
